The Days Gone Bye cdrom contains over 200 pictures of New Cumnock and the surrounding mining villages of Connel Park, Craigbank and Burnfoot. Pictures of local mines and the people who worked in them are included on this cdrom as well as school class photographs of the Town, Bank and Dalleagles schools from the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. All pictures have been digitally restored and enhanced to remove scratches and other blemishes to enable them to be viewed as clearly as the day they were taken.

The More Days Gone Bye cdrom carries on from where Days Gone Bye finished and contains over 240 new pictures of New Cumnock and its people. These pictures have been digitally restored and are not to be found on the previous disk.
A new search feature has been added to this disk which allows the user to search for names and locations, this enables the user to quickly find a picture of a relative or an old school friend.
All pictures on the cdroms are displayed on screen at at 800x600 pixels. The pictures are viewed using the Slideshow program supplied, this program does not require to be installed and runs directly from the cdrom.
